  • Book a service or repair appointment.
  • Request a quote for our services.

This information may include your name, email address, phone number, vehicle registration number, and other details relevant to your enquiry or booking.

When you send our quote request form, we also note which page of our website you came from and any advertising campaign in the web address, so we know which of our services and adverts people find useful.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote — because you asked us to, before any agreement (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To carry out and invoice the work you book with us (Article 6(1)(b)), and to keep the records the law requires, such as invoices (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To remind you of upcoming appointments, MOTs or service due dates — only if you have opted in (Article 6(1)(a)); you can opt out at any time.
  • To keep our website secure and free of spam, and to understand which pages and adverts bring enquiries (our legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)).

We never use your enquiry to send you marketing unless you have separately agreed to it.

3. Who We Share It With

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run our business, who act on our instructions and must keep it secure:

  • Totalsoft IT Solutions Ltd (UK) — runs this website, delivers the quote request form and provides the garage management system we use for enquiries, bookings, customer records and invoices.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this website and provides the security check on our form (Cloudflare Turnstile), which looks at technical information from your browser, such as your IP address, to tell people from automated spam.
  • Amazon Web Services (servers in London) — sends the emails our systems produce, such as your enquiry reaching us.

We may also share information where the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, it is protected by safeguards approved under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

4. How Long We Keep It

  • Enquiries that don't lead to any work: up to 12 months, then deleted or made anonymous.
  • Customer, vehicle and job records, and invoices: for as long as the law requires — usually six years after the work.
  • Reminder preferences: until you opt out.

5. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction, including encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it.

6. Cookies

Our website does not set its own cookies to track you or for advertising. The security check on our quote form (Cloudflare Turnstile) works only to stop spam. Pages that show our location include an embedded Google Map; Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address when the map loads — see Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com. You can control or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

7. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal data, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it, and withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below — we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
